Hi everyone,

I hope someone can help me. I can not join a server since yesterday (internet lobby is offline). Does anyone have the same problem? It says that the gamespy master server is offline. Are there other ways to join the servers. Thanks in advance.

Yes, unfortunately the master server is down and we cannot say when it will be up and running again.

You can still access the servers by DirecIP. Please, check viewtopic.php?f=89&t=2621 for the respective IP's and port numbers.

Edit: server is empty :/ i think the most of the player dont know like me.

Sorry for the stupid question but maybe you can help me with this. I installed halo ce and also installed the patch 1.0.10 but the game does not open. I have windows 10. What else could it be?

Can you please describe the error you are getting or post a screenshot?

Thanks for your help. I think I found the problem. The patch was for the ,,normal" halo not for halo ce. Unfortunately the links to the patchs are no longer online :/

When I start the game nothing happens, there are no error messages, just nothing opens. When i open the game as administrator, nothing happens too.

You're welcome and well done.

Right click on HaloCE shortcut and choose Properties. See if in the target line it says -window after the quotations. If it does, remove it (-window) and run halo. It should now run in full screen.

If not, after the quotations, add -vidmode 1920,1080,60
Note: replace 1920,1080,60 according to your screen resolution and refresh rate.

How to check screen resolution: right click on the desktop and choose Display Settings
How to create a shortcut: right click on the desktop and choose New, Shortcut and browse/ paste/ type the path to the file haloce.exe

Hey by Boss, thank you for your help, you are awesome Unfortunately I have not managed. Is it because of windows 10? My resolution is 1920 x 1080.

The following options are available for the properties: Security, Details, Previous versions, Compatibility, Link, General

Under shortcuts it says:
execute in: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition"
target: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\haloce.exe"

Under Shortcut, change:
target: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\haloce.exe"
to:
target: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\haloce.exe" -vidmode 1920,1080,60

Click Apply/ Anwenden
